Mid-Week Encouragement June 12th 2024

We have been organizing a baptism over the last couple of weeks, and I couldn't be more excited! It started with a single person asking to be baptized, and within two weeks, that number has grown to seven! So, of course, we will also have a potluck!

One of the things I love to do as a pastor is baptisms. It is one of the ordinances of the church that speaks to the spiritual truth which takes place within a believer. An outward expression of commitment to the Lord and the work He does through the Holy Spirit in our lives when we believe and call on the name of the Lord.

Since there is nothing more important in this world than calling on the name of the Lord, it seems only appropriate that we celebrate it!

Luke 15:7

"I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance."

With this latest round of baptisms, we have baptized twelve people (maybe more by June 30th?) in 2024. And that is awesome!
