Mid-Week Encouragement August 21st, 2024

The mid-week encouragement was a day late because of another visit to the eye specialist. This is my second appointment since my operation. The eye recovered quickly from the operation, and there was never any redness or discomfort, even the day after. My eye drop regimen has been altered once more, and I am now only taking four different drops (as opposed to 7 before), and I only have to take eight drops a day now instead of 13.

Although the cataract has been removed, the lens has been placed, and the drain has been carved out, I still cannot see correctly. I believed there were a few issues from the beginning, and I was correct. The two big blurry floaters are blocking my vision. Even the eye machine could not read through them. Although they occasionally move just right, and for less than a second, I have perfect 20/20 vision through a small peephole.

So, for now, three more weeks of these drops and another appointment.

Please keep praying. It would be great if I could get my eyesight back. It is challenging working, writing, and preaching with one eye.
