Mid-Week Encouragement August 14th, 2024

Another week, and we are all busy trying to take advantage of the nice weather. Because of my eye, we didn't get to garden this year, but there is still time for me to get some stuff done in the yard before Autumn. Today is the last day of my physical restrictions from the eye surgery, so I can get back to work!

It still takes me much longer to do anything, and no depth perception is not fun, but God willing, I will get the most important things taken care of. As far as plans this fall, well, my hope is I will be able to get another fiction book written before winter. I am still promoting my book, Drowning in Milk: A Guide to Spiritual Maturity (after many weeks in the top 100), and it is still doing good.

I am including the link to Mr. Herschelman's book, Good Church/Bad Church, this week to give readers a chance to pick it up. Just to let you know, we are included in this book! House of Faith Church (and Pastor Shields) fell into the Good Church category, thankfully. Let me tell you, I loved this book and the theological measuring stick used to test churches. It is really a great read.
